Join us for a supplemental reading and discussion group aimed at graduate students and early career researchers on Cultural-Historical Activity Theory. This group is quite informal and very welcoming to questions and multiple theoretical perspectives from the group.
We have started this series of discussions as a way of digging deeper into cultural-historical activity theory, and its perspective on identity and agency, focusing on Holland et al.’s book Identity and agency in cultural worlds. During this series, we will discuss different perspectives on CHAT and their relationships to other theoretical frameworks as well as unpack Holland and colleagues’ perspective on identity and its development.
