Deborah Dutta (she/hers) is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Learning Sciences at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. I am an interdisciplinary academic whose work draws on long-term studies of urban and community farming, agroecology, and institutional innovations in rural livelihoods to explore how everyday practices such as gardening, shared labour, and locally anchored learning can foster critical environmental literacy and action. My broader research involves understanding the interconnections among ecology, embodied knowledge, and collective action.
